Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of investment products such as mutual funds or PMS and AIFs, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be adept at building relationships with clients and distributors. A key responsibility will be to onboard and manage relationships with channel partners, distributors, IFAs, wealth managers and private banks to grow the distribution network of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conducting thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
  • Analysing data, interpreting market dynamics, and identifying growth areas and stay up to date on developments within the investment management sector.

Marketing Initiatives:

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns for channel partners and distributors and clients via email and WhatsApp marketing or one on one engagements.
  • Manage sales and marketing content creation and distribution across various platforms.
  • Analyse campaign performance and optimize for better results.

Development of distribution network:

  • Assist in the development and execution of business development strategies, including marketing initiatives and partner engagement efforts.
  • Work on development of distribution network through multi-pronged approach.

Brand building and brand awareness initiatives:

  • Using data-driven approaches to enhance sales and marketing strategies.

Effective Communication:

  • Providing vital market intelligence to senior management.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development activities, providing recommendations for improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Understanding of financial markets, financial products and services.
  • Good communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • MBA; CFA/CFP/FRM preferred.

Experience:

  • Preferred work experience of working in business development role in an asset management company, mutual fund or PMS or AIF.
